Sutra Transcribing
“Sutra Transcribing” - copying or tracing the Buddhist scriptures (i.e., Heart Sutra) using the technique of Chinese calligraphy. This session will take place every Saturday from 1:00 to 2:00 pm.

About the Event
Calligraphy is an important part of traditional Chinese Culture and Art. Practicing calligraphy cultivates personal morality and strengthens personality as it requires concentration and patience.
“Sutra transcribing” - copying or tracing the Buddhist scriptures (i.e., Heart Sutra) using the technique of Chinese calligraphy, allows us to enjoy the same effect as meditation, while providing the opportunity to learn Buddhist teachings.
We encourage you to spend an hour with us practicing sutra transcribing and enjoying a Dharmaful time.
